We had arranged for CWA to initially come to the two South Island second wānanga to introduce the next phase of network cluster developments using the He Kākano web site. However, our assessment is that our team and school leaders need more time to develop their skills in this area, so instead we will be asking you to register on the He Kākano site region by region, as we run the second wānanga
National Māori Leaders' Wānanga16 March 2011
We intend to run the National Māori leaders hui again in May (Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th) at the Abel Tasman Hotel, Willis Street, Wellington.

We have pleasure in greeting two school principals to the project – from Te Whaiti Area School and Te Aute College, both of whom attended the Christchurch wānanga.

He Kākano Booklet and Waiata07 February 2011
The Manutaki have been given an information booklet to give to schools that provides much of the information from the web site. At the back of the booklet is the recording of a waiata composed especially for the project by a staff member of Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiarangi, Mrs Ngahirata Gardner (Ngati Awa, Mataatua, Tuhoe).
